Integrated DBT, EFT, IFS & EMDR-Informed Group Support: Virtual · Canada-Wide · Closed Group · 16 Weeks
The Théla Foundations Group is a small, therapist-facilitated virtual group designed for adults who feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, reactive, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or exhausted from constantly trying to hold everything together alone.
This program integrates evidence-informed approaches including DBT, EFT, IFS, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and EMDR-informed resourcing to help participants build emotional regulation skills, deepen self-awareness, improve relationships, and better understand the emotional patterns shaping their lives.
The group combines psychoeducation, guided reflection, practical coping tools, experiential exercises, and supportive group discussion in a structured and emotionally attuned environment.
Participants may benefit from this program if they experience:
Emotional overwhelm or emotional shutdown
Difficulty regulating emotions
Anxiety, burnout, or chronic stress
Intense self-criticism or shame
Relationship and attachment difficulties
Fear of rejection or abandonment
Emotional numbness or disconnection
People-pleasing or difficulty with boundaries
Recurring emotional or relational patterns
Feeling stuck in survival mode

Grounding and nervous system stabilization
Self-compassion and inner criticism
Emotional expression and communication
Understanding protective patterns and coping responses
This is a closed group, meaning new members will not join after the program begins. The small group format is designed to support emotional safety, consistency, trust, and deeper connection over time.
To support the group process:
Please note that EMDR techniques used within this group are limited to stabilization and resourcing exercises only. Full trauma reprocessing is not conducted in the group setting.

Participation in the Théla Foundations Group is determined through a registration and screening process to support group fit, safety, and readiness. Submission of a registration form does not guarantee acceptance into the group.

Group placement is based on clinical appropriateness, group composition, and available space.
